About the school
Banyan Grove Public School has taught children in Bengaluru since 1998. Here is our story, what we value and who leads the school.
Our story
Growing with Bengaluru since 1998
Banyan Grove opened in 1998 with 120 children from Nursery to Class V. We added classes as those first children grew: CBSE affiliation up to Class X came in 2004, senior secondary classes began in 2010, and our first Class XII batch finished school in 2012.
Today 1,450 students and 72 teachers share a three-acre campus with science and computer labs, a library of 8,500 books and a ground for football and cricket. Sections are still small enough for teachers to know their students well, and we judge a good year by how our children have grown as well as by their results.

- 2010Senior secondary classes begin with science and commerce.
- 2016A new science block and the present library open.
- 2021The humanities stream is added in Class XI.
- 2024Solar panels and rainwater harvesting are installed across the campus.

Message
From the principal
A good school day leaves a child a little more curious than it found them. At Banyan Grove we keep classes small, plan lessons carefully and give equal room to the playground, the stage and the library. Our door is open to parents: if something is worrying you or your child, please come and talk to us.
